Users of the platform can now not only create a permanent carpool group—which in some cases entitles them to a dedicated parking space—but anyone can also share their commute to help colleagues get to one of the facilities. In 2025, the first full year of the program’s implementation, approximately 6.3 metric tons of CO2 were saved thanks to carpooling!

This service is organized through fairmove—either via its web platform or mobile app—which also allows users to view all other sustainable mobility options available near their workplace. Whether it’s BIXI, Communauto, bus routes, or train lines, a profile has been created for each service and is regularly updated to centralize information in a single tool dedicated to commute management.

This also allows health center staff to locate secure bike shelters at various facilities and reserve a spot for one or more hours. Fairmove also adapts to different types of bike shelters and provides the necessary information to locate and unlock each structure, whether via a code, a key, or an employee badge. The next step will be to evaluate the possibility of integrating fairmove more closely with one of the unlocking systems to make the experience even more enjoyable. Over the course of a year, nearly 1,000 reservations were made—a significant increase compared to the previous period—and there was an average of 12 reservations per shelter user.

Two years ago, we were approached by the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center of the North of the Island of Montreal (CIUSSS NIM) to implement our fairmove platform with the goal of offering three services related to sustainable mobility.

[10
21,14,22,23
post-2702","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bilan-mobilite","tag-abris-velo","tag-covoiturage","tag-fairmove","tag-partage-de-trajets
["GET
